The Location

Makhtesh Ramon

One of the world's largest erosion craters, stretching 40 km across the Negev highlands. Its layered sandstone walls, ancient riverbeds, and vast playa floor create an ever-changing canvas for photographers.

Our base in Mitzpe Ramon puts you minutes from the rim — close enough for daily shoots, far enough from city light pollution for pristine night skies.
